Quote of the Day! from Jeremy

I consider Jeremy to be a friend now. Though we have never met in person, his story came alive on JCTV on a show called "Second Take." He is a Christian young man in a rock band who was stuck in an addiction to pornography. His habit only brought guilt and anguish to himself and his family. After years of struggle; when he conquered his giant, he shared this thought:

"The Love of God will follow me to any depth of Hell
that I drag myself into."

Whoa!! What a concept. A lot was said in that statement. What confidence; that nothing, NoThing, NOTHING can seperate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus. Oh how faithful God is and how in need of His faithfulness we are!!!

Had to share this awesome quote of the Day!!!

Here is my first purchase to help in my writing endeavors. I found this beat up old desk with HUGE amounts of character and probably a story of it's own. Garage sale find for only $5!! AND guess who found me at the garage sale and pointed it out? Carol Gustafson, fellow writer, friend and encourager for my writing. God is Good!! and FUN!!

Snowglobe Mornings

This morning I woke to 5" of fresh, heavy, wet, spring, snow and the anticipation of 8 more inches by dinner time. My friend Jill wrote this morning; "March, you are such a tease." Yesterday we were in capris with 70 degree weather, today we dive in our closets for our favorite sweatshirts and comfy jeans.

It was a morning of the quietness of falling snow and what I desired most was to be at home, in my own quiet 'snow globe' of a home. Watching it snow while I got the chance to stop life and just watch peace fall. Life has been so busy lately and I yearn for the time to be still.

However, today was filled with the usual parts of life. Grocery store runs, designated driver for a school field trip, swing by a garage sale, prep for dinner. All in all, my quietness came at the end. When the kids went to bed and I finally put my feet up to rest. As i turned my head to look out the patio door, the snow was still falling. It's so wonderfully restoring to sit and be still in a snow globe!
